NATIONAL GOLF-A-THON
June 2012
The first week of November we announced the first ever National Golf-a-Thon in June 2012! This is a great opportunity for all nonprofits in the U.S. to raise big money with no risk, little work, and big returns. Start getting your golfers together now!
What is a National Golf a Thon?
The GTAA National Golf-a-Thon is one event from sun up to sun down where Non Profit Organizations recruit golfers to raise pledges and play as many holes of golf in one day as they can. 100 holes is the goal for each golfer.
No Risk – The Non Profit has no risk, all they have to do is get golfers to raise the pledges and play golf, the GTAA does the rest.
Where to play - The GTAA is lining up 50 golf courses in 50 major markets where your golfers can play.
Gifts & Prizes – Each golfer will receive gifts and prizes as they reach their goals in pledges per hole.
Goals – Each of your golfers will have a goal of raising $25 in pledges per hole and playing 100 holes of golf in one day, raising $2,500 each.
How many golfers – It is all up to you. You can have 1 to 40 golfers playing in one local market of 2,500 golfers playing across the country.
Your Potential – An example of your potential: If you have 25 golfers that raise $25 per hole and play 100 holes of golf, your group would raise $62,000 total.
How is the money distributed? Your group will receive 70% with no risk.
The money is distributed this way:
70% Back to the Non Profit
10% Goes to the Golf Courses
10% Goes to Gifts and Prizes
10% Goes to Administration
