Since 1961 the Dye Family has created some of the best golf courses in the World. 270 Golf Courses, hosting over 44 Professional and Amateur Championships. Arguably some of the toughest golf courses on earth. The Legacy of Pete and Alice will live on forever. The contribution to Golf is unmatched by anyone in the industry.

For the first time ever, there is now a World competition to determine the best Amateur Golfers who play on Dye Golf Courses.

The Dye World Amateur Championships is a Professional Style Stroke Play Competition for individuals, Men and Women Division, Gross and Net, and Teams from the Dye Golf Courses from around the World.

Each Club will host a local competition to determine the best Individual and Team Players in a 1-day stroke play and Best Ball Competition. Winner will proceed to a Regional Final. The Winners will compete in a 2 Day World Championship. Location to be announced.

The Competition
The Pete Dye World Golf Championships is a First Class PGA Style annual competition that will determine the best golfers in the World from the toughest golf courses.

The Purpose
A Tribute to Pete and Alice Dye and their contributions to the game of golf.

To raise money for Silver Lining Consortium, to assist in the treatment of Alzheimer’s
To determine the best golfers from the toughest golf courses in the World.

Process
Each participating Pete Dye Design Golf Course will have the opportunity to host their own local event determining their local champions. Their best players will from each club will compete in a World Finals. Golf Course entry fees $7500 per team. (Finals location to be determined)

Our Mission: Provide access to treatment protocols for people diagnosed with AD to help them make AD a condition that no longer impacts quality and quantity of life. Help seek the most dedicated and inspired medical research people in business and in public institutions that are developing “best in class” AD treatments showing great promise. Provide funds for economically disadvantaged AD patients so they can access FDA compassionate approved treatments. Promote and facilitate Brain Healthy Annual Checkups for people age 45+ (especially those with symptomatic memory issues or a family history of AD)
